Power Peel® ~ Microdermabrasion
The Power Peel® is a revolutionary new skin restoration process. The Power Peel® sprays fine crystals onto the skin, while it simultaneously vacuums up the crystals along with dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads. Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation of the skin. By hand, the esthetician frees the skin of dead cellular layers, which reduces the appearance of fine lines and brown spots. A change in the texture of your skin is felt immediately!
In addition to dermaplaning, Alpha Hydroxy Acid may be applied in order to further exfoliate the skin.
The Chemical Peels available in our office are today's answer for those clients wishing to achieve smoothing of wrinkles without undergoing the more invasive, deeper peels obtained in the operating room. These peels are performed in a series, and are used to smooth fine lines, even out skin tones, and correct environmental and sun damage to the skin. The results of these peels are a more youthful, healthy glow, along with reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars, and textural and pigment irregularities in the skin.
After the treatment, the skin feels softer and smoother. A slight redness may occur, along with some flaking which is easily covered up with make-up and moisturizer.
Many different formulas of chemical peeling are used; Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which is used in the BioMedic® Micro Peel or Salicylic Acid, which is found in the beneficial BioMedic® Micro Peel Plus!
