Dr.
Smythe Rich, a Columbia native, graduated from the Medical University of
South Carolina. Upon completing ten years of post-graduate training, he
returned to Columbia to obtain board certification in head and neck surgery
and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Rich has lectured throughout
the United States on topics pertaining to Facial Plastic Surgery. He participates
in medical mission trips as well as actively supporting the Boy Scouts Board
of the Indian Water Council. Currently, he is the director of the Center
of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and president of the Palmetto
Surgery Center.
